Badge Assembly Instructions
1. Glue: Protect clothing and work surfaces (metal foil works well). Use in a well-ventilated area. Each tube is single use only. Tube must be pierced before using. Point tube AWAY from face and body. Do not squeeze tube while puncturing. To puncture, screw nozzle tip onto tube completely.
2. Apply 1-2 drops into a threaded hole on the back of the Badge.
3. Thread a rod into the now glue-filled hole. HAND TIGHTEN ONLY. Do not over-tighten as this may cause a surface puncture on the front.
4. Perform Steps 2 & 3 again for the other threaded rod. Discard glue.
5. Glue set time is 10-30 seconds, but full strength occurs after 24 hours.
Install the badge the following day to allow for full strength
Installation to Car
1. Find an appropriate location in your grille and slide the threaded bolts through the openings.
2a. Apply the mending plate on the inner side the grille and secure it with the washers, lock washer, and winged nuts. Hand tighten. It is suggested that a nylon lock nut is installed about 1/8"-1/4" down to prevent the winged nut from backing off.
or
2b. Apply the mending plate on the inner side the grille and secure it with the washers, lock washer, and nylon lock nut. A 3/8" wrench may be required for the nylon nut, but be extremely careful to not over-tighten as the rod can be pulled out of the badge.
Note: Most users have been able to install their badges without removing the grille, though doing so may make the process easier.
